Opening Flanders Make – AugmentX Research Lab

Brubotics is happy to announce the official opening of the Flanders Make AugmentX  Research lab!  We will welcome you on Thursday 11 January 2024  for an inspiring afternoon and lab visit.

What is AugmentX

Led by VUB researchers and powered by the accumulated expertise of the esteemed Brubotics research teams. Our lab is now open to not only researchers but also third parties, providing access to our advanced infrastructure and knowledge.

At AugmentX, our primary focus is on evaluating technologies that physically enhance human capabilities, such as exoskeletons and collaborative robots. To achieve this mission, we have equipped the lab with state-of-the-art technology, including a Vicon motion capture system (MOCAP), force plates, electromyographic measurement devices, IMU sensors, and much more.

Furthermore, we go beyond research and measurement by offering workshops and other related services centered around exoskeletons and collaborative robots. Our goal is to facilitate the advancement of these technologies, ultimately benefiting humanity by improving physical support and assistance.
